Hello Ladies & Gents,
First off I’m going to make a major apology for NOT backing up the SQL database when I had a chance – he cut if off midway through my download last night and my old copy is gone (or so I think, I’ll be looking around).
Back in May of 2007 I was an Administrator on GalantForums.com and I asked Jason to sub-branch the 9G section because it was the only way that the platform will get REAL attention and he agreed.
DNA Racing sponsored Club9G as I made the website, graphics, etc from scratch and at that point purchased vBulletin with community donated money.
Club9G’s sponsor was supposed to be receiving money from Google AdSense at the top of your screen on the website that I never saw a dime of; I run a computer business outside of this and charge my normal clients $100/hr and I never once charged Jason anything.
He came to me about two weeks ago stating that the website was going to be shut down because he could no longer afford it and I said that’s fine I’ll buy the domain name and transfer it to my hosting.
This is where Greed comes in – he demanded $40 for my domain name that I built the name, brand, image of because he purchased it. After a small argument I agreed to send him his money on Monday however when returning home that night I had found that he slandered my name and slandered our website in general.
Club9G will not be shutting down, we just will be starting back from the get-go and I’ll be working on this every day until we are back up and running 100%.
Expect a brand new style for the design and a much stronger community! Please spread the word and let other people know that the real Club9G is now home at our .net website.
